“To Iva's family,
I worked for many years with Iva at the Palo Alto County Hospital. She was a good friend to all she worked with. She also made contact with some of us when she was coming too West Bend once a year for her taxes, and we would meet for lunch. It was a special time for all of us. She was such a joy to be around, and I am sure she will be miss by many family and friends. May God be with all of you during this hard time. Take care.”

“Dwight and Family, Sorry we couldn't make it back. Your Mom was a neat lady and will be greatly missed. Some of my fondest memories as a child was with your family up in West Bend. We had such a good times on those summer vacations. Your Mom was a great Aunt to me and so was Hank a great Uncle. I will always remember Uncle Hank as a very good baseball player. I'm glad you kept "never miss" in the family. Iva was a very kind lady and didn't mince her words. You always knew where she stood on things. I loved that about her. The tribute you put together was fantastic!”

Our heartfelt condolences are extended to the family.

I haven't been to Iowa often, and last saw Iva 2 years ago at a family gathering. While we weren't particularly close, I always admired her, and she was always cheerful and engaging. We'll miss her.

With warmest thoughts of happy memories,

Dale Pinnekamp and Lynda HIng
