“To all the Wiley family, please accept my most sincere condolences in the loss of your loved one. I was fortunate to visit with Marv at Park View this past autumn, and it was both a joy and a source of inspiration to speak with him. He and my father, Reinard Wulkow, were on the same rifle and pistol team in the Two Rivers League and enjoyed the time they spent together in that shared interest. Marv's energy and positive outlook, despite his physical setbacks in his later years, was amazing. Access to a wealth of information and his example of never-ending joie de vivre has been lost to us, but we will always remember and appreciate the many talents and gifts he shared with so many. We can only aspire to be such a blessing to others!”

“I am extending my sincere sympathy to the entire Wiley family. My parents, Dale and Dorothy Ninneman, always enjoyed visits with Marvin and Ethyl after church. During the days when it was difficult for Dad to get out in the community, Marvin would stop by for a shared time of thoughtful conversation and some "remember when" topics. I am forever grateful for his kindness and consideration--Dad always had such great respect for Marvin and his positive outlook on life. I am deeply sorry for your loss, but strong faith, a loving family, and good friends help ease the pain and heal the hurt of losing someone so near and dear. Blessings to you. . .”

“I am truly sorry for the loss your family is experiencing right before the holidays. Jack told me that he was able to go in peace, and I hope that you can find comfort in that. From what I have heard about Mr. Wiley through the course of my friendship with Jack has been nothing but amazing things. He sounds like an amazing man, and wonderful family leader. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time of loss. ”

“For many years Marv and I corresponded by email and he was of extreme help to me in gathering information on the students of 20s and 30s of Varina High School of which I am the historian. He was also instrumental in furnishing many photos of students of the early school years. It was a joy to spend time with him at the biennial school reunions; he was not only a gentleman but counted as a great friend to me. Keep watch over us from up there Marv.”

“My sincere condolences Wiley clan. Marvin taught me a lot both in gun handling and welding. I will always remember and be thankful that he did the hunter safety classes. I used many of his ideas and sayings when I could fit them into my oilfield safety courses. He was an inspiration to me and I will never forget him. RIP Marvin.”
