   Frances Rosener-Baumhover, of Atlantic, IA, formerly of Wall Lake, age 99, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016, at Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, IA.  Frances was born on August 4, 1916, to Harry and Mary (Pinnekamp) Rowe in Kansas City, MO.  She attended grade school in Breda, IA and graduated high school from St. Bernard high school in Breda.

   On June 17, 1941, Frances was united in marriage to Henry Rosener.  This union was blessed with four children: Darwin, Dennis, Marvin and Verna.  They made their home in Wall Lake, IA where Frances was a homemaker and took care of her family. After Henry’s passing, Frances found love again and married Edward Baumhover on December 26, 1973 at the St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breda, IA.  

   Frances was a devoted wife and mother, caring for her family and doing volunteer work throughout the community.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church where she taught catechism and was a member of the ladies guild.  She enjoyed card club and crocheting.  She treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

   Survivors include her children: Darwin (Clarice) Rosener of Spirit Lake, IA, Dennis (Debbie) Rosener of Atlantic, IA, Verna (Tom) Kruger of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren: Mark and Scot Rosener, Bill Rosener, Cherie Neblung, Kellie Nath, Anne Seufert, Jenny McEntaffer, Jason Kruger, Pam Anesetti; 24 great grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers: Norman (Marlene) Rowe of Harrison, AK, Don (Mary Ann) Rowe of Breda, IA; sister Donna Mae Reiling of Auburn, IA; many extended family members and friends.

 Frances was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband Henry Rosener; 2nd husband Edward Baumhover; son Marvin; three sisters and one brother.

“I extend my deepest sympathy to you and your families. I have lived close to Frances when they lived on the farm and also just down the street from her when we moved into town. i really enjoyed playing cards with her she was a sharp card player. i won't be able to attend her funeral as I will be working at the senior meal site on Tues. May Gods blessing be with her.
