Lindsey Lou Quirk

Lindsey Quirk, age 16, of Wall Lake, IA passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014 in rural Sac County Iowa as a result of injuries received in a tragic automobile accident.

Lindsey Lou Quirk was born to parents Bryan and Lisa (Uhl) Quirk on August 6, 1998, in Sioux City, IA. She grew up on the farm with her parents, sisters Shay and Maty, and brother Kaleb, in rural Wall Lake. She received her schooling at East Sac County where she was beginning her sophomore year. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Odebolt, IA and was baptized on September 20, 1998, and confirmed in her faith on April 1, 2012.

Lindsey was very involved in sports at ESC playing volleyball, basketball, golf, and softball. She was a very dedicated player. She loved sports, was continually practicing, and was very competitive. She loved the outdoors, swimming, her animals, and loved to go boating. She treasured her friends and her family. When she wasn’t playing her own sports, she cheered on the New Orleans Saints. Lindsey was always on the go and feared nothing. Her spunky personality would light up a room and she always made people laugh. It was never a dull moment with her around. She was full of life and will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her parents Bryan and Lisa of Wall Lake, IA; sisters, Shay and Maty and her brother Kaleb, all still at home; grandparents: Jim and Vickie Quirk of Lake View, IA, and Bill and Charlotte Uhl of Battle Creek, IA; great-grandparents: LouDale and Helen Sales of Battle Creek, IA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, teammates and friends.
