Dennis Green

Dennis Green, age 64, of Lake View, IA, passed away at his home Friday, April 20, 2012.

Dennis Gary Green was born on October 31, 1947, to parents Edward and Glendora (Maha) Green in Redwood Falls, MN. He grew up in Minnesota attending Long Prairie elementary and later received his G.E.D. He joined the Army after high school, serving his country from 1966-1968 until his honorable discharge. He married Kathy (Taubert) in 1972 and together they were blessed with three children: Jessica, Brandi, and Travis. He was later married to Shelly (Blunk) and to this union a daughter Amanda was born.

Dennis made a living for his family as an owner/operator and later as an over the road driver working for Mau Trucking and for the last 18 years with Wynne Trucking. He enjoyed camping, reading, spending time with his fiancée Candi and with his friends at the Trapper’s Den. He will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Survivors include his fiancée Candi Robbins; daughters Jessica Green of Dunedin, FL, Brandi (George) Wood of Englewood, CO, Amanda Green of Wall Lake, IA; son: Travis (Julia) Green of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren: Brianne Neumann of Englewood, CO, and Drew Ambush of Dunedin, FL; brothers: Edward (Glenda Lee) Green Jr., David (Doreen) Green, and Charlie (Ruth) Green; sisters: Frances (Harry) Altermatt, Phyllis (Harris) Haugen, Anita Otremba, Darlene (Jim) Ehrlichman, Laurie Evans, Bev (Robert) Bolduc, Rosie (Steve) O’Brien, and Glenette Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
