Daniel Gross

Daniel Joseph Gross, age 46, of Lake View, IA, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, IA. Daniel Gross was born on August 5, 1968 in Carroll, IA to parents Bernard and Carol (Gliem) Gross. He was baptized and confirmed his faith at St. Francis of Assisi in Maple River, IA.

On July 8, 2000, Dan was united in marriage to Helga Blessington This union was blessed with three children: Tommy, Alissa, and Tawna. The family made their home in Lake View, IA, where Dan began trucking and farming.

Dan was a social butterfly and had tons of friends. In his spare time he went to tractor pulls and farming shows. He liked to drive anything and everything. He cherished every moment spent with his family and will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Helga, his three children: Tommy of Lake View, IA, Alissa Reinert of Bowling Green, OH, and Tawna from Lake View, IA; three brothers: Ed (Mechelle) Gross of Pocahontas, IA, Kevin (Candace) Gross of Halbur, IA, B.J. (Staci) Gross of Hill City, SD; two sisters: Cathy Christensen of Carroll, IA, Brenda (Michael) Morson of Carroll, IA; and many other extended family members.
