Larry Wolfe, age 79 of Carroll, IA, formerly of Sac City, IA, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at St. Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll.
Larry Max Wolfe was born on February 23, 1943, to parents Orville and Ina (Blakeslee) Wolfe in Sac City. He attended school in Sac City and graduated with the Class of 1961 from Sac City High School. Larry served in the United States Navy for five years right out of high school, during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Larry worked as an RN in Minnesota for many years and retired at the age of 67.
Larry was married to Vicky Booth and they had two sons, Todd and Jesse. They later divorced. Larry loved being around people, especially his family. He also enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and watching ghost story shows and old westerns. He always looked forward to family gatherings up in Minnesota where the boys and grandkids would all meet. Larry’s faith in God was deep, which leaves those he left behind comforted in knowing. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
