   Beverly Melin, age 74 of Sac City, IA, passed away on October 26, 2021, at UnityPoint Health Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, IA.  Beverly was born on September 14, 1947, in Ida Grove, IA, to parents Elmer and Grace Levin.  They resided in Lake View at the time and moved to a farm south of Arthur in 1951.  Beverly attended the Odebolt-Arthur School and graduated in 1965.  She then attended a business school in Omaha, NE, and was employed with the telephone company there.  She then worked at various farms and eventually moved to Withee, WI, where she met and married Edward Melin on September 16, 1988.

   Beverly loved music and played the piano for school choruses, contests, and her local church in Withee.  She and her husband Edward moved to Iowa in 2007.

   Survivors include her husband Edward Melin of rural Sac City, IA; sisters: Gloria Levin of Lake View, IA, and Marilyn Jascor of Arizona.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and son Mark, from a previous marriage.

  It was Beverly’s wish that donations be made in her name to any charity of the donor’s choice.
