Larry Kruckenberg, age 78 of Lytton, IA, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020, at Park View Rehabilitation Center in Sac City, IA.  Larry Lee Kruckenberg was born on September 1, 1941, to parents Henry and Evelyn (Cleland) Kruckenberg in Sac City, IA.  He grew up in Lytton, IA, where he attended grade school and graduated from Lytton High School with the Class of 1959.

   On June 23, 1963, Larry was united in marriage to Judy Willert at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sac City. They were blessed with two sons, Chad and Robert.  Larry and Judy raised their family in Lytton where he worked at the Lytton Community Creamery, the Lytton Elevator and for Kruckenberg Trucking.  Larry was also very involved in the community. He was a member of the Lytton City Council, a volunteer police officer for the town and a volunteer firefighter.  In his free time, you could find Larry spending as much time as he could with his grandkids.  He loved to spend time at the farm, being outside and going fishing and camping.  He also enjoyed bowling and watching sports on television. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

   Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Judy Kruckenberg of Lytton, IA; son Chad Kruckenberg of Lytton, IA; grandchildren: Jamie Kruckenberg of Granger, IA, Angelina Peterman of Des Moines, IA, Kaylynn Kruckenberg of Lytton, IA, Kylin Kruckenberg of Lytton, IA; great-grandchildren Tyler and Alyssa Anousis of Granger, IA; sister Linda Schwaller of Odebolt, IA; many extended family members and friends.

   Larry was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Robert Kruckenberg.
