Frank Darin Campbell, age 57 of Sac City, IA, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Loring Hospital in Sac City. Frank was born on September 18, 1962, in Adair County, Missouri to Franklin D. and Ruby F. (Moncrief) Campbell. He graduated from La Plata High School in La Plata, MO.
On July 25, 1997, Frank was united in marriage to Carla Miller in Sac City. They made their home in Sac City where together they raised their children, Tim and Brandi. Frank was an over the road truck driver working for Ruan Trucking.
He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His family meant the world to him and he was known for bringing everyone together for family meals. Frank cherished his grandson Ashton. He also really liked to research things on the computer and thoroughly enjoyed playing games with his brother. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. Frank will be remembered by his ability to make people smile. Anywhere he went, it was always a goal to get whomever he met or talked to that day, to smile.
Frank is survived by his wife, Carla Campbell of Sac City; son Tim Campbell of Sac City; daughter Brandi Campbell (Ronnie Sutton) of Odebolt; grandson Ashton Mikesell of Odebolt; brothers: Kevin Campbell and Steve Campbell both of Jacksonville, FL, and John David of MO; mother Ruby Campbell of Blue Springs, MO; sister Karen (Larry) Calvert of Blue Springs, MO.; many extended family members and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Campbell.
