Lucille Lange

God blessed Lucille Lange with 100 years of life and called her to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Twilight Acres Nursing Home in Wall Lake, IA.

Lucille was born August 3, 1913 in Storm Lake, Iowa the oldest child of Ernest and Clara (Suter) Wetzstein. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith.

After receiving her teaching certificate from BV College in Storm Lake, IA she taught in the rural school system prior to her marriage to Raymond Lange on September 15, 1937 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cook Township, Odebolt, Iowa. Raymond and Lucille were blessed with four daughters: Marilyn (Gary) Scott of Omaha, NE, Yvonne Bowman of Fountain Hills, AZ, Judy (Steve) Rozek of Fort Dodge, IA, and Kathy McCullough of Omaha, NE.

Lucille loved being a farm wife, mother, and grandmother. She shared her Christian faith with many family and friends and had a huge heart for missions. Her family is especially grateful to the staff at Twilight Acres and Hospice for the wonderful care she received in her final years.
