Jeffrey Lee Henson

Jeffrey Lee Henson, age 43, of Sac City, IA, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Cass County Memorial Hospital, Atlantic, IA.

Jeff was born on September 30, 1967, in Sac City, the son of Marlin and Bonnie (Ringgenberg) Henson. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sac City and graduated from Sac City High School in 1986. He worked at various jobs in the area as a truck driver, farmhand and at the Lytton elevator.

Jeff loved being outdoors; fishing, hunting, and trapping were some of his hobbies. His family and friends have many wonderful memories of times spent together including fishing trips to Canada with his brothers and friends, holiday gatherings, especially Christmas, family picnics and so many more. Jeff had many friends and enjoyed hanging out with them and going fishing and hunting. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents: Marlin and Bonnie Henson of Sac City; brothers Jim (Sue) Henson of Nemaha and Jon (Carla) Henson of Carroll; grandmother Helen Ringgenberg of Sac City; nieces and nephews: Andy Henson, Jessica Prenger, Kyle and Ashley Ellis, Amanda Thies, and Wyatt, Noah and Amelia Henson; great-niece and nephew Kierstynn and Miekko Prenger; aunts and uncles: Arlin (Geri) Ringgenberg of Nemaha, Rita (Tom) Kingsbury of Sioux City, Don Ringgenberg of Sac City, Reggie (Lesa) Ringgenberg of Sac City, Renae Wirtjers of Sac City, Barb (Waldo) Christiansen of Stillwater, MN, Howard (Rosemary) Henson of Storm Lake, Darrell (Linda) Henson of Millard, NE, LaVern (Cheri) Henson of Carroll, Lola (Russell) Paeper of Cherokee, and Janet Niles of Marcus; numerous cousins and extended family and many, many friends.
