Kacey M. Puffer
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 26th, at the United Methodist Church in Early. Burial will be at Early Union Cemetery under the direction of the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home. Visitation is from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 25th, at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Sac City. Kacey was born on October 3, 1990, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the youngest of three children to Leland “Jim” Puffer and Amy (Everding) Puffer Kuehler. She was baptized and confirmed at the United Methodist Church in Early and a member of the United Methodist Youth Fellowship. Kacey was in her sophomore year at Schaller/Crestland High School and like most teenage girls, loved talking to her friends on the computer and cell phone, enjoyed watching MTV, having her nails done, and loved to cook. She was a proud aunt and bragged about her nieces and nephew and all their accomplishments. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and her family. Survivors include her mother Amy Kuehler and stepfather Tim of Early; her father Jim Puffer and his friend Vivian Ornelas of Sioux City, Iowa; brother Justin Puffer and wife Sara of Dakota City, Nebraska; and sister Coty Puffer of Omaha, Nebraska. Other survivors include her step-brother Kyle Kuehler of Cedar Falls, Iowa; maternal grandparents Bill and Shirley Everding of Titonka, Iowa; paternal grandfather Jerry Puffer of Algona, Iowa; step-grandmother Hilda Kuehler of Spencer, Iowa; her special nephew and nieces, Matthew, Mallorie, and Savannah all of Dakota City; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Her grandmother Venice Puffer and uncle Jeff Puffer preceded Kacey in death. |
