Sara Joan Mentzer, infant daughter of David and Mary Mentzer of Early, Iowa, was stillborn on Saturday, February 11, 2006, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Funeral services for Sara will be held on Tuesday, February 14th, 2:00 p.m., at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Sac City with Father Larry Burns officiating. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at the Early Union Cemetery.

Besides her parents, Sara is survived by two brothers, Kyle and Eric; sister, Beth; paternal grandparents, Ray and Marilyn Mentzer of Early; maternal grandmother, Joan Reed of Lakeside; many aunts; uncles; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, James Reed.
