Dale Andrew Hauser, age 71, of Lake View, Iowa, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Loring Hospital in Sac City.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 11th, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sac City with burial at Oakland Cemetery under the direction of the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Sac City.

Visitation if from 4:00-8:00 p.m., with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 10th, at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Sac City.

Dale was born on March 5, 1935, in Carroll, Iowa, the son of Nick and Josephine (Steinkamp) Hauser. He attended country school by Wall Lake through eighth grade, and graduated from Lake View High School in 1953. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wall Lake. Dale was united in marriage on February 23, 1957, to Claudia McClintock. Three children were born to this union: Larry, Diane, and Tony.

Dale loved to farm. He farmed north of Lake View where he reared his three children and through the years enjoyed taking them fishing, hunting, and camping. He also enjoyed traveling and spending his winters in Florida. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and cherished spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed many visits with his life long friends.

Survivors include his wife Claudia; two sons: Larry Hauser and wife Karry and Tony Hauser and wife Steph both of Lake View; daughter, Diane Kirby and husband Bryon of Lohrville; and five grandchildren: Abby and Ashly Hauser, Amanda and Justin Kirby, and Alex Hauser. Other survivors include his mother-in-law, Florence McClintock of Sac City; brothers-in-law: Greg McClintock and wife Wanda of Brighton, CO, and Monte McClintock and wife Joyce of Garner, IA; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Hauser of Milan, MO; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Josephine Hauser; brother, Ken Hauser; father-in-law, Percy McClintock; sister-in-law, Joretta Hauser, and niece, Cynthia Hauser.
