Jacqueline L. Beyer
Jacqueline Lea Beyer, age 44, of Halbur, formerly of Wall Lake, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2005, as the result of a motorcycle accident. Jackie was born on April 28, 1961, in Torrance, California, the daughter of Earl and Maxine (Ford) Ross. She graduated from high school at West Plains, Missouri. In 1993 Jackie moved to Iowa. She was united in marriage to Klaus Beyer on April 30, 1994 in Wall Lake. They divorced in 2003 but remained very good friends. Jackie worked as a secretary at Midwest Homes of Carroll for one year, then moved to Kentucky for about a year, and had just moved back to Iowa two weeks ago. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who treasured her family and friends and lived life to the fullest, enjoying the great outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, and riding motorcycles. All those whose lives she touched will miss her. Survivors include her daughter Shasta Ross (Jeremy Green) of Halbur, IA; son Devin DeShazo of Wall Lake; mother Maxine Ross of Halbur; two grandchildren: Courtney and Jalen Green of Halbur; brother Terrell Ross and wife Cindy of West Plains, MO; sister Carol Bryant of Auburn, IA; friend Klaus Beyer of Wall Lake; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends. Jackie was preceded in death by her father Earl; sister Ellen “Honey” Ross Blum; sister-in-law Heidi Smith; and special friend Irene DeShazo.
