Mary Wicker
Mary graduated from Wall Lake High School in 1920. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church where she remained an active member until failing health made it necessary for her to enter the nursing home at Wall Lake where she remained until her death. She was a member of Eastern Star and also belonged to several social clubs. On July 8, 1939, Mary was united in marriage to John Wicker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents, Henry and Sarah Mann; brothers: John, Clarence, Russell “Jake”, William, and Lyle; and her sisters: Margaret, Helen, Mabel, and Nellie. She leaves to mourn her passing a niece, Norma Cunningham and husband Elmer of Morro Bay, California; a nephew, Warren Frerichs of Newell, Iowa, and his daughter Mary Marler and husband Daniel of Hansville, Washington; and other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 11th, 10:30 a.m., under the direction of the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home, at the Wall Lake Cemetery, with Reverend Donald Gibson officiating. Visitation is from 9:00-10:00 am, prior to the graveside service on Saturday, at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Wall Lake. |
